The New Mexico Vintage Photographs series is a ensemble of stills taken over the years with my vintage 35mm Nikormate camera., among some of New Mexico's most resonant sites. They document glimpses of my experience with spiritual centers through ruins, markings and their transcended spirit. From a skull found on abandoned land while seeking the wild horses, to the detail of a tiny desert flower against the monumental reservation rocks. The images projected onto the skull were taken from 'Catching the light', my very first film hommage to the desert rats and their beloved desert light.
